This allows individuals, charitable organizations, community groups, and businesses to voluntarily offer housing and provide a safe route for Ukrainians and their close relatives who have been forced to leave their homeland. People arriving under this scheme will be able to live and work in the UK for up to three years, have access to healthcare, benefits, employment support, education, and English language training. Citizens of Ukraine or their family members who lived in Ukraine until January 1, 2022, are eligible to participate in this program.
All documents required for visa processing under the Ukrainian scheme are submitted online through the HOME OFFICE website (UK Immigration Service). You do not need to go to a Visa Center to apply. You can submit your visa application from anywhere in the world, as long as you have a mobile phone and internet access.
After your documents are reviewed and a positive decision is made on your application, you will receive an electronic entry permit to the United Kingdom for up to 3 years. Upon arrival in the UK, you will receive a plastic card – BRP card (residence and work permit).
The document processing time is 2-3 weeks.If you need a tourist, guest, business, student, or work visa, you will need to prepare a specific set of documents, pay the consular fee, and visit the UK Visa Center for in-person document submission.
United Kingdom – under the sponsorship scheme Homes for Ukraine and Ukraine Family Scheme, a visa is provided for up to 3 years, with work permission, free healthcare, and education for all Ukrainian citizens. The United States government has announced plans to accept up to one hundred thousand Ukrainians and people of other nationalities fleeing Russian aggression, and open a significant number of legal opportunities for them, including the U.S. refugee status program. Since April 21, 2022, the U.S. has launched the Uniting for Ukraine (U4U) program. The program is a simplified scheme for Ukrainians to obtain humanitarian parole. The applicant is granted the right to stay and work legally in the United States.
To participate in the program, it is necessary to have a sponsor who will act as a financial guarantor for the applicant for the entire duration of their stay in the U.S.

AUSTRALIA – The Australian Federal Government announced a new scheme for providing humanitarian visas for Ukrainians on March 20, 2022. Around 5,000 Ukrainians have already received visas to travel to Australia, including visas for skilled migrants and family reunification, as well as student and tourist visas. Once in Australia, applicants will have the right to apply for a temporary humanitarian visa, providing more certainty. The Federal Government expects that most displaced Ukrainians will want to stay in Europe but has not limited the number of visas it will offer. This visa will be valid for three years and will allow people to work, study, receive government support, and access MEDICARE (health insurance), as well as receive assistance through the Federal Government's humanitarian programs.
